Food for Life
Please join our next meeting at 12.30 – 1.30 p.m. on Tuesday 9 August 2022 where Khun Somnuk Jetjiravat will speak on “Food for Life”.
Khun Somnuk Jetjirvat (สมนึก เจตน์จิราวัฒน์) has been actively giving out 200-260 meals weekly from his own kitchen to the homeless, the jobless from Covid-19, and retired seniors. This activity covers the area on Rajdamnern Road where approximately 180-220 hungers waiting for meals everyday. However, due to his limited budget, he can only hand out twice a week i.e. Monday and Thursday.
Khun Somnuk started this activity since May last year when he saw many homeless who slept on roadside, Q-up for Food from Doners . That certainly touched him. Khun Somnuk, a born-Bangkokian, who worked in many professions, from Business Travel to Congress and as an Exhibition Organiser, to an IT Publisher partner with a German Magazine before his retirement. Currently, he is the Consultant for the American Mobile Power Plant for SEAsia.
Also, Khun Somnuk has been a National Museum Volunteer since 2002. He loves exploring Mural Painting. Now he takes a Special Course “Buddhist Philosophy and Paint” with Thai famous painters at Mae Fah Luang University in Chiangrai.
