Malaka Samara is from Palestine. She has a B.A in English Language and Literature. She is the Co-Founder of Logica Consultancy Center in Palestine. Logica runs many projects in the field of no-violence, women and youth empowerment, development, consultancy and training
Malaka represented Palestine as an activist in international conferences and events in 25 countries around the world and has spoken in more than 200 American, British and European Universities and colleges about conflict resolution and peace building and development, in specific about the Palestinian/Israeli conflict.
In 2013 Malaka was awarded Generation for Peace International Foundation “Call for Action” award and in 2015 she was awarded Samsung Sustainability Award for working with hundreds of young Palestinians and children as part of her work partnership with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
From Jan-March 2015, Malaka joined Rotary Professional Development Fellowship, in Peace and Conflict Resolution with Rotary Peace Center at Chulalongkorn University. In July 2015, she started her master study in International Development Studies at the Faculty of Political Science Collage at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. Currently, Malaka is doing her PhD studies in Germany.
Away from her academic life and background, Malaka studied and teaches yoga for 12 years now.
