From 1982 to 2009, Dr. Jean practiced as a private and Government Urologist, General Surgeon, Oncologist, and to this day practices as a Humanitarian Surgeon. Having retired, he has taught Urology in Nursing School from 1983 to 2005. He is a musician (saxophone, clarinet, piano, and voice) (5 CDs sold for Charity). And for Social Media, he is the host of the M23 Club which has had 133 meetings (daily between 23 March and 30 June, and weekly since 1 July 2020).
Dr. Jean joined Rotary in 1988 at the RC de Salon de Provence, District 1760. He was at the Rotary e-Club 9920 Francophone, District 9920 (New Zealand and South Pacific Islands) since July 2012. He has held a number of positions including past president including Club President of the Rotary e-Club 9920 Francophone and Club Secretary for 2020-2021.
He helps French families and Thai Orphans with adoption through official French and Thai adoption centers. He is an English teacher for adults. He is registered as a General surgeon, Urologist, and trainer in medical NGOs (Doctors of the World).
